Rates for US sellers without an eBay Store, from published seller guides summarising eBay's fee schedule, last checked October 2026. Store subscribers, promoted listings and international sales change the numbers. Check eBay's selling fees page before you rely on them.
Cheap cards: watch the per-order fee
A $5 card with $1.27 shipping pays $1.13 in fees, about 23% of the card's price, because the $0.30 per-order fee is the same on a $5 card as on a $9 one. Bundling cheap cards into lots, or pricing them higher with cheaper envelope shipping, keeps more of each sale.
A $100 card with free shipping pays $13.65 and, with a $5 label and a $40 cost, leaves $41.35.
